Burst Fire: A weapon fires a set number of rounds (usually 2-4) with a single depression of the trigger. Saves you a lot of precious ammo.
Quick Scope: As the Left Trigger (scope button) is depressed your character aims down the scope and fires a single shot. Great for Long Range Situations.
Akimbo: The ability to dual wield weapons by depressing the Right Trigger only. May be used in conjunction with rapid fire.
Drop Shot: As the player begins to fire the character drops into the prone position and will continue firing. May be used with the other modes enabled as well.
Burst Fire: A weapon fires a set number of rounds (usually 2-4) with a single depression of the trigger. This is a very powerful mod that helps preserve ammo and help prevents a unnecessary reload when under fire.
Auto Aim: As the trigger is depressed the weapon automatically takes aim through the weapon sights or optic. This substantially enhances the accuracy of the weapon. When the trigger is only slightly depressed it will allow you to zoom in, without releasing a shot.

Press and release LT right away for quick scope shot, hold LT for auto breath.
Preset at 10.0, which is actually 1 second from when scoped in to auto shot. This is the only mode that measures the speed in tenths. If you change the speed to 15.0,it equals 1.5 seconds from scope in to auto shot.

Gears of War 3 Sub Section:
The mode at which you enter will depend on what normal section mode you were previously in. For example, if you were using Mode 3 in the normal section, and you activate the Gears sub section, you will enter into mode 3 of the sub section. Since there are 7 total modes in this section, 1 through 7 will enter into the corresponding mode. If you were is mode 8 and up, it will default into mode 1 of this sub section.
To turn rapid fire off once you have entered this sub mode section, you will first need to exit the sub section by holding down the Back Button and pressing RB, then hold LT first and press the back button.
Sub Mode 1: Prefect Active Reload for Lancer and Scorcher when RB is pressed, no rapid fire.
Sub Mode 2: Prefect Active Reload for Gnasher Shotgun when RB is pressed, no rapid fire.
Sub Mode 3: Prefect Active Reload for Retro Lancer when RB is pressd, no rapid fire.
Sub Mode 4: Prefect Active Reload for Sawed-off Shotgun, auto reloads after firing, no rapid fire.
Sub Mode 5: Prefect Active Reload for Hammerburst when RB is pressed, with rapid fire. This mode is for versus on Xbox Live.
Sub Mode 6: Prefect Active Reload for Snub and Boltok Pistols when RB is press, with rapid fire.
Sub Mode 7: Prefect Active Reload for Hammerburst when RB is pressed, with rapid fire.
